About Wilderness Ridge
Founded in 1987 through the vision and efforts of men at Spring Branch Community Church in Houston, it has since expanded from the original seven acres to 95 acres.
Summer Camp: Elementary, Junior High and High School boys in June and July. A week of Summer Camp has a capacity for 32 campers, with a ratio of two leaders to every eight boys.
Weekend Retreats: Father-Son, Father-Daughter, Families. Each weekend retreat has a capacity of 60. We also open the facilities for church groups or other ministries to have their own types of programs.
Location: The “Lost Pines” area of Bastrop County between Bastrop and Buescher State Parks known for its beautifully wooded, rolling terrain. We’re about 45 minutes from Austin, an hour and a half from San Antonio, and two hours from Houston.
