We are partnering with Too Cool Racing to help them put on an Adventure Race in the Smithville Area. We can't give away too many details, but we're looking forward to working with them!
We need 10-15 volunteers to help facilitate this fun event! Please contact Jeremy Thomasson if you can help out at jeremy@wildernessridge or 214-718-2618.

Back for the 10th year running, come see why this incredibly fun and challenging race is so popular. Teams will bike, paddle and run through the beautiful piney woods of Central Texas. The Big Chill Adventure Race offers something for veterans and beginners alike. Choose the sprint, 12 hour or ‘old school’ favorite, the 24 hour race.
The “Chill” is the race that started it all. This year we serve up all new stuff as well as some old 10 year favorites. Expect a tough as nails race, awesome 10 year anniversary Hoodie, cool special tests, and more. Back to the ‘Chill’ this year is Too Cool’s famous “skip point”. Teams that bring in 5 canned goods per racer are permitted to skip a checkpoint during the race. Donations directly benefit the victims of the Central Texas wildfires. The race will happen rain, snow, or shine, so be prepared for any type of weather. Race headquarters will be at Buescher State Park. Choose the sprint, 12 hour or ‘old school’ favorite, the 24 hour race.
